How blinded are you?

Whew!

It’s been how many days now since my last post. I feel drained again. Also caught up with a lot of work. But now I’m gonna try my best to come up with something.

When you talk to people about Filipinos, one of the things they would say about them is, they’re happy even if they live in poverty.

Yes, Juan dela Cruz had been known for just taking lightly & forgetting what’s happening around him. He would just prefer not to worry about the current issue & rather work on how to improve his life. But there’s a problem with this attitude.

Everyone does that now, they just don’t give a care.

We are so blinded that we don’t see the effect of this blindness that is causing to those are living in poverty. Everytime a new issue comes up, we would just prefer to ignore it. Even the poor are blinded as well. They see no hope, why worry about it?

If Juan dela Cruz would just open up his eyes & see what is actually happening in his country, he would be able to solve the problem.

The worst part of this attitude is, it is being encouraged. You would see celebrities (who are better off), telling everyone to just enjoy life. The problem is, most celebrities doesn’t know how it is being poor.

The government would also take this as an advantage, why would they do better things if they see their people enjoying life anyway?

What I hate the most is the Filipino youth. They just doesn’t seem to care. Rizal, in his youth, had done much to fight for his country. He died young. Ask a typical Filipino youth what he/she has done for his/her country, you’ll get “nothing” for an answer or they don’t have a single clue.
