Eco-Friendly Game Show
With a large number of TVs used & lightings in the game show Pilipinas Game KNB?. Has anyone wondered if the show is eco-friendly?
Pilipinas Game KNB? is a game show in Philippines by ABS-CBN. It has a large following since host Edu Manzano took over the hosting job. The format of the show has also changed which makes earning money in the show is easier now.
ABS-CBN is one of the leading promoters of taking care of our (Philippines) eco-system. They do this through their program Bantay Kalikasan. Isn’t it ironic?
Promoter in one hand, polluter on the other hand.
Has any enviromental groups done any test on the show on how many carbon footprints they are leaving? This is what lead me to writing about the show. Basically, if they wanna care about the environment they should show figures of carbon footprints left. This way Filipinos will be alarmed by what they are doing to our environment. But it seems that they don’t bother to care.
Pollution in the country is already a big issue. What other ways to lessen it aside from showing TV personalities that doesn’t even do anything to help save the environment? I don’t really know. Well, my suggestion before about showing a statistics of pollution would be a good idea.
Philippines should also have an independent body that studies how much harm is already being done. Why did i suggest this? I don’t know any government offices that does this. Seriously, someone should do a review the climate change that is happening in Philippines. Any plans of taking care of the country is useless if no one really knows how much work is to be done.
Why did I say no one really knows? Has any media outlet produced a report on how much damage is being done? As far as I know, NONE!
Note: Based on what I’ve written, some readers might actually think I’m attacking ABS-CBN. Well, NO! My writing will not be fully anti-ABS-CBN. It’s just based on whatever I can think of to write. It just came to my attention how ABS-CBN is really serious about tackling climate change.
